Applicants from certain countries applying to come to the UK for more than 6 months will need to have been screened for active Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Applicants must produce a valid medical certificate issued by a medical practitioner confirming they have undergone the screening and the disease was not present.

- Democratic Republic of the Congo
- India (settlement applications only)
- South Africa
It is important to note that this list is often updated. If you are from one of the listed countries and submit an application without a certificate, your application will be automatically refused.
